Reiner Pechmann was born 1968 in Kulmbach/Bavaria, Germany.
2011 he moved with his Family to Töpen, in the north of Bavaria.
He often takes pictures at the Bavarian-Thuringian border, which is 1300 meters away from his home. With his photographs he tries to capture the beauty and vulnerability of nature. The protection of ecosystems is very close to his heart.
He has been a full member of the GDT since 2012.
